James A. Kopp, Jr., 71

James A. Kopp, Jr., 71, of Lebanon, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late James A. and Theresa (Meyers) Kopp.
After graduating from Manheim High School and Thaddeus Stevens Trade School, Jim received an Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from HACC. He enlisted in the United States Air Force and honorably served his country during Vietnam. For many years, Jim worked as a Design Draftsman for General Electric. He was a lifetime member at St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Lancaster, and enjoyed attending services there.
Jim is survived by three daughters, Marilyn Zenko of Arizona, Michelle Eichinger of Georgia, and Marcella Gammache of Lancaster. Also surviving is his sister, Carole Castline of Lancaster, and a brother Thomas Kopp of VA; and 5 grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service which will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at 11:00 AM at St. Matthews Lutheran Church, 700 Pleasure Road, Lancaster, PA 17601. Jim’s final resting place will be at Riverview Burial Park, and will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, his family requests memorial contributions in Jim’s memory be made to American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org or the American Cancer Society at 314 Good Drive, Lancaster, PA 17603.
