Helen V. Young Copenhaver, 96, of Lititz, peacefully passed away on April 22, 2019 at Brethren Village., She was eldest of nine children born in Clinchfield, VA to the late C. Homer and Ethel (Vance) Young and the wife of the late William V. Copenhaver, Sr.

Helen worked as a seamstress for Tidy Products for over 35 years, retiring in 1985. She enjoyed traveling around the United States and Canada both with her husband and as a part of bus trips.

She is survived by her son, Bill Copenhaver and his wife Rosemary, a grandson, Ryan W. Copenhaver and his long-time companion Courtney Esbenshade, and a great-grandson Zane W. Copenhaver. She is also survived by nieces Carol Gail Willie and Donna Boykin. She is preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband of 49 years, William, and her nine brothers and sisters.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Helen’s memory to the Benevolent Fund at Brethren Village at “Brethren Village Retirement Community, Attn: Development Dept., 3001 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543.”
