Hector M. Coca, 76
Hector M. Coca, 76, of New Holland, died on July 25, 2007 at his residence. Born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Enrique Coca Medina and Manuela Guzman. He was the husband of Darlene M. (Mellott) Coca to whom he was married to for 13 years.
Mr. Coca was employed for 15years with the New York Housing Authority working in the Maintenance and Heating Plant operations. He retired as a Foreman of Housing Caretakers. He was a member of the American Legion in Harrisburg. He was an avid bowler with the Blue Ball Lanes Senior Citizen bowling league and the Rocky Springs Senior League. He was a member of the Faith Community Church of God in Denver PA. He served in the United States Marine Corps, and was awarded the Korean Service medal and ribbon, and United Nations medal and ribbon.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his son Hector M. Coca Jr. of Manhattan NY.; three grandchildren, Joey Jimenez, Milisha Jimenez, Hector David Coca all of New York; Seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter Miriam Coca, a sister Anna Coca, and a brother Enrique Coca.
