Dear Stigelman family,
I have fond memories of Harry throughout my years when I was younger. My dad graduated with him and through the year when I ran into him, he was always smiling and always made me laugh. I know from talking with my parents that at class breakfasts he would ask my parents about me – which always made me smile. He was a very kind, loving man and he will be missed by many. Keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers. He was one of the good ones and I will miss him and his smile dearly.

Stigelman family,
I’m a friend of Brad’s from the veterinary industry. I just wanted to express my sincere sympathies to you all for Harry’s passing. Brad often spoke so very proudly of his father and the life he’s led and the people he’s had such a tremendous influence on in his life. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all.

Dear Stigelman family,
My prayers and thoughts are with you in this time. Harry was a great friend t my Dad “Homer” as they he umpired a lot his games at Millersville. I got know Harry through him, and always had a smile and good joke and stories! We all lost a gem with Harry, and it is reassuring to know we will see him again. I can imagine my Dad greeting him in heaven… “Hey Beaver! How’s it going?” And laughing at each other. Yeah, we have plenty of memories! I’ve known Harry since 9th.grade and later worked with him at RCA.Then as we became “seniors” bowled in the annual senior games with him and also played golf once a week for many years.Harry was always so much fun to be with.He was one of a kind. One of his comments on the golf course was “if that would have been straight it would have been right on”.Our sympathy to Carol and the family, you were the world to him.

Carol and family, so sorry to hear about Harry’s passing. I have many good memories of Harry at First UMC church, whether it was talking to him on Sunday, playing church softball (he was very good), or visiting through my folks backyard. I enjoyed hearing his stories about baseball, and visiting with him at the college when he was on duty. Our condolences to you and your family

I am sorry to hear of the loss of Harry, I worked with him at Millersville for several years before he retired. Harry always had a joke, a funny comment, a gesture, and most often a smiling face. He is remembered and missed.

To Carol and family: I was so sorry about the passing of Harry. He was a true friend to me from Kindergarten on. We played baseball together, including the 1950 New Era Midget Midget Championship, when Harry pitched 8 innings to win the game. Over the past 7 years because of my limitations on travel we shared many phone conversations when we talked about “old times” and our medical problems. I will truly miss him. May the family always remember what a good man he was and how proud he was of his family and community. God Bless. Please forgive me for not attending his service but my travel limitations prevent this. Bill Brackbill

I met Harry 40 + years ago when Carol and he had their second child Kelly, and my wife and I had our second child, Kristen. A friendship began and we watched our daughters play softball for years. Harry was always cheering them on.
What a great Dad, Harry was with a positive attitude. When he and Carol announced to us of their third child I laughed, and God heard, and blessed us with our third child, Megan. Harry was thrilled he got his boy and what a boy he was! Harry call him bulldozer. His name was Brad and their family was complete.
