Harold M. Peek, Jr, 98, of Lancaster, PA, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2017 with his wife by his side. Born in Clearfield, PA, he was the son of the late Lillian & Harold Peek, Sr. Harold was the husband of 67 years to Ruth M. (Norris) Peek. He was the uncle to many nieces & nephews.
A veteran, he served in the US. Army during WWII. He retired as a floor pattern designer from Armstrong Cork Company. Harold was an avid golfer. He taught his wife to play golf, and they were in many golf tournaments together. He was a member of the Hershey Country Club and Meadia Heights Golf Club. He was a lover of music and enjoyed listening to Dixieland Jazz.
Harold was the last of his siblings. He was preceded in death by: Alan, David, Leslie, Evelyn, Jack & Richard.
A viewing will take place from 10-11 AM with a Funeral Service to begin at 11 AM on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Harold will be laid to rest at Millersville Mennonite Cemetery.
