I just wanted to express my sympathy for your loss.  I visited Harold weekly as a volunteer from the Blind Association for the last year or so.  He was usually up to date on current events and we had many discussions about articles in the paper.  He truly cared about his family.  He was always interested in my family and what my young sons were doing.  We talked and laughed together and he often had good advice to share.  My sons met him and asked him about his service in World War II.  They were fascinated to talk to someone who served in that part of history.
Sincerely, Pam Reth
