H. Dennis Morgan, 63

H. Dennis Morgan, 63, of Salisbury Court, Lancaster, died Thursday night, March 2, 2006, at Lancaster General Hospital Emergency Room.

Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Arthur B. and Verna H. Morgan. He was the husband of the late Kay L. Treaster Morgan, who died March 28,2004.

At the time of Dennis’ death, he was employed at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home,. Previously he was in broadcasting with WGAL, in advertising with Penn Holder and manager of the Cloister Country Store In Ephrata. Most of his career was spent at Lancaster General Hospital in plant engineering.

Dennis attended Conestoga Valley High School and Cheshire Academy in Connecticut, and Phelps School of Commercial Art in Massachusetts. Dennis was a member of Calvary Church in Lancaster. His  hobbies included riding his motorcycle and sailing. He loved spending time with his dog, Reggie.

Surviving are two daughters; Shelby M., wife of Ron M. Keen of Lakeland, Florida; and D’Anne, wife of Leroy Nelson of Upper Darby, PA; and one son, Cameron Wade, husband of Debra C. Morgan of Doylestown, PA; six grandchildren; one sister, Phyllis, husband of David Rupert of Intercourse, PA, and an aunt, Betty Leibfried, of Ronks, PA.

Funeral services will be held at Calvary Church, 1051 Landis Valley Road, Lancaster, PA on Tuesday, March 7, 2006, at 2:00 pm. with Rev. David Allen officiating. Interment in Mellinger’s Mennonite Cemetery, Lancaster, PA. A viewing will be held at the Church on Tuesday from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Please omit flowers; contributions may be made in Dennis’ memory to Hospice of Lancaster County, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
