Gregorio Negron, 56

Gregorio Negron, 56, of Lancaster, PA passed away unexpectedly at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Blanca Iris Rosario and Gregorio Negron. He was the loving husband for 28 years to Wanda I. (Zeppenfeldt) Negron.

Gregorio was a selfless man. He loved to help those around him. He was a great husband, hardly spending time away from Wanda. They enjoyed dancing and listening to music. Gregorio was a talented chef, often blessing family and friends with meals. In his free time, he enjoyed playing dominoes, fishing, watching television and sitting outdoors with friends of the neighborhood. His generous heart will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his wife, Gregorio is survived by his children: Jose J. Colon (Katia Galarza) of Lancaster, Wanda L. Hernandez (Felipe II) of Lancaster, Brandon Negron (Erin Harkins) of Collegeville, Alejandro Negron of Lancaster and Joshua Gregorio Negron of Lancaster; 3 grandchildren: Felipe Hernandez III, Jizzel L. Hernandez and Ninoushka “Mimi” Galarza; his siblings: Diosa Pantoja Rosario DeJesus, Sonia Negron, Daniel “BeBe” Rosario and Betty Rosario as well as several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will be received from 6PM to 8PM on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory. A Funeral Service will be held at 11AM on Friday, July 31, 2020 at the Funeral Home. Friends and family will be received from 9AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
