You are all in our prayers.  We are sorry that we can not be with you.  We have such fond memories of your Dad.  What a wonderful man he was: cheerful, compassionate, loving and a great educator.

Love to all of you.

Glenn was a fine gentleman and a good friend and he will be missed by all.

I had the honor of working with Mr. Davis during all of his years at Penn Manor.  I served as Mathematics Department Chairman under his leadership.  I admired him for his integrity and leadership abilities.  I admired him for his concern about the students and especially for his support of his staff.  He was my boss but I also felt he was my friend.  He certainly ranks among the top  administrators that I worked with during my 39 years at Penn Manor.  We are so sorry that we can’t attend his services because we are presently in Florida.  I am so very sorry that we can’t be there to honor him and share our feelings with his family.  We have faced the death of four close family members in the past year, so we understand your struggle.  Both of our fathers were also in their 90’s and we definitely miss them.  But we also share the knowledge that they are no longer suffering and  that they lived good long productive lives, and that does provide some comfort.  We will be praying that God will grant you the same special peace that he granted us during those difficult days.

Your Dad will always have a special place in my heart. He was a fine gentleman.
As an elementary teacher who taught with Eleanor for 12 years, I always enjoyed ‘after school’ visits at the Davis home. Glenn continued to listen to my school stories up until my own retirement in 2007.

Love and prayers,

Dear Chris, Glenn, Becky, Glenn and Nancy and Carol and families,

So sorry that we can not be with you as you celebrate a wonderful life so well
loved.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you and with Eleanor, too.

You have our sympathy………Gale and Vin

I would just like to say that I am sorry for the loss of your father.  He was a wonderful man, who I had the privilege of knowing while working at Country Meadows as a PCA.  He was always so cheerful and positive. I thought it was great how he kept in touch with his family through email at his age. My husband, Bud, who is the driver, also got to know and appreciate him through taking him to appointments, etc. It was a pleasure to know him and have him with us at Country Meadows. Sincerely, Joyce Fair
P.S. I also still think of your dear Mother, who I helped to care for on the 2nd floor,  and hope that she is comfortable.

Dear Nancy and Family,

We are sorry to hear of Glenn’s passing and regret that we are not in Lancaster to attend the service. However, our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Visiting your Dad over the past few years brought back many fond memories of our days together at Penn Manor. We also enjoyed our social activities with both of your parents.

Again we regret that we are still in Florida for the winter and cannot be with all of you at his service.

Peace be with you and treasure your many fond memories.
