Sending prayers n condolences to the Gehman family members. I had the opportunity to work with Glenn when I was a Outreach Worker for the SDOL. He was a very kind, caring n friendly person. He was very dedicated to making sure his Reynolds students were very successful in their academics. I truly believe that the Reynolds students were very lucky to have Glenn as one their guidance counselors.

Dear JoAnn, Jeanine, Andy,
We are saddened by your loss.  We were best friends from our Lincoln Days, your marriage, and to the present. We know he will be singing with the Angels and find some serene golf courses in heaven.   Love, Dave and Rochelle

I am sorry to hear this. He was a wonderful counselor, loved the children he worked with and was an inspiration to us all at Reynolds Junior High School. I enjoyed knowing him. May he rest in Peace.

Joanne,
Sorry to hear of Glenn’s passing.  Glenn and I have been friends for a long time, starting when he became a counselor at Reynolds. We worked together for the rest of our careers in SDL.  Then we started playing golf together.  Glenn participated in many trips to Cacapon State Park in West Virginia with our group and then, when we stopped going there, he often played with our local group.  I always liked and respected Glenn for being such a nice person and a reliable friend. I will miss him.

Aunt Joann,Andy and Jeanine: We are so sorry to hear of Uncle Glenn’s passing. He was a special uncle.A fond memory I have of him is when he shared some “red teacher” pencils so that I could use them to grade papers when I played school as a little girl.Seems like a small gesture but oh to have such a treasure like that back in the day was awesome..It seems fitting that the red pencils laid a foundation which led to a career as a paraeducator. I will never forget this kind gesture. That was Uncle Glenn..he was such a kind and caring person.Treasure the memories you have in the days ahead. With our deepest sympathy,
Jerry and Coleen Funk
