Thinking of you and your family at this time. So many great memories from McCaskey ’59. My dad would have been happy to see that Glen continued his love of sports. I started playing Senior Softball at 65 for PA Fillies out of Harrisburg. We went to world Senior Games in St. George Utah. That would have made Glen smile..now I play Pickleball. Marian Neely Mowrer

Darlene and family
I was saddened to read of Glenn’s passing. When we played tennis at McCaskey even though he was #1 on the team, he never looked down on anyone. He was a really nice, friendly, down to earth person. Many times when i drove past Dutch Lanes i thought of you and Glenn and wondered how you were doing. Best wishes to you.

We are saddened by Glenn’s death, your family has our condolences and our prayers as well. i really loved bowling against him in the travel league, I would needle him while we were bowling and he just took it and needled me right back, he loved pulling pranks and he loved getting pranked on. I’m sure going to miss him for all he stood for and for all the people he’s helped during his lifetime. May God Bless you and your Family Mary Lou & Win Randler Jr.

With sincere sympathy for the departing of your dear Glenn. There is a loving promise from our Grand Creator at Revelation 21:4 – And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” I hope this promise gives your family the hope needed and the comfort to get you through these difficult times. You are in my thoughts.

25 years ago Bonnie and I brought David Jr. to 222 Dutch. He immediately took to the game and the atmosphere.Through the years Glenn not only taught him the skill, but the respect for the game and individuals. I thank Glenn and the Montgomerys for their charater building skills. Glenn will always be the King of Pins. …..David A. Woffington, Sr.

“A special man is hard to find, your dad will always be on your mind. We wish he could have stayed forever, but we will never forget him -not ever. If dreams weren’t dreams, and dreams came true, we’d wish him to be here with you. Distance is one thing that keeps you apart, but your dad will always remain in your heart. A special smile, a special face, a special memory will remain in place. he has filled your heart with memories no one will ever replace.”
Although I haven’t seen Glenn for years, Just his name brings a smile -the easy going, fun, upstanding man that he was – alway with a smile and a hug to give-one of the “good guys” who will be missed by all. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the Montgomery family.

I remember all of the tournaments and leagues in which Glenn and I bowled oh so many years ago. I remember that Glenn always showed respect for his fellow competitors, and he was always quick with a warm smile and words of encouragement. He was truly someone you enjoyed running into and talking to, and he will be missed. I wish to extend my condolences to all of the Montgomery family.

Haven’t talked with Glenn in years, but Glenn was the sole individual that inspired me to pursue the sport of bowling. He drilled my first fingertip ball and instructed me at Dutch 222. A great guy, friendly, helpful, talented and encouraging. I extend my deepest sympathy to his family and close friends.
