This breaks my heart Glenda and I graduated from McCaskey a year apart and became good friends many years later, she would always attend my class reunion with me and we would go out to eat as and talk. I moved up to Elk county years ago but we still stayed in touch. Kim she always talked about you and the grandkids and was so proud of you. This came as such a shock to me as I had text her on the 24th to see how she was our friend Barb notified me I still can’t believe it. I will miss our talks and get together terribly. Your MOM was a great person!!! Please contact me. I’ll try and get down for the service. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family❤️🙏❤️.

My deepest condolences to the family.
I have worked at UPMC Lititz for several years, and whenever I placed a call through the operator, I always hoped to get Glenda on the phone. She was not only extremely knowledgeable, but also deeply kind. A ray of light, probably too often unrecognized, in a stressful world. I hope she realized the positive impact that she had. She will be missed.

I was so saddened by this, Glenda and I have been friends since our girls went to grade school, she was a very caring person. Our paths crossed in years of being employed, she took my shift when I retired. We both loved Doo Wop and got to go to a show together. Thinking of you Kim and your family, sending prayers.

I worked with Glenda at Community Hospital and she taught me “centralized scheduling!” She and Vicki Black were the dynamic duo!! I also enjoyed seeing Glenda at the CHL breakfast gatherings that we had twice a year before COVID hit. I will remember Glenda’s smile, laughter, and always willing to help. Glenda was a grand lady! Kim – your Mom will always be with you in your heart! She loved you so much! Condolences to the entire family!

It saddens me to hear of Glenda’s death. She was a very good and attentive friend. From Facebook, sharing things from funny, to sad, to political we often saw eye to eye. She made me laugh hundreds of times through the years.
Glenda, I have missed you these past weeks and will miss you always. I’m sorry we didn’t get to say goodbye. Thank you for being my friend.
To her family, my sincere condolences. She was one very special lady. Her loss will be deep, but she gave each of us something special to hold onto. May God’s grace be with each of you.

Glenda – I can’t imagine you not in my life. We have known each other since 2nd grade at Geo. Washington Elementary School. We lived across the street from each other as kids. We shared special and monumental events from watching the Beatles on TV in 1964; learning to drive together; being a part of your wedding; becomming Godmother to Kim; shopping trips; travel trips to Washington DC for shows, eating and visiting our favorites at the Zoo, the Giant Pandas. My next travel will be solo; and, I will miss you forever. Love, Sue Burk

Glenda was the real deal. She always had a listening ear and a kind word for everyone. She definitely was young at heart and got along with everyone,no matter what age. We could all learn a lot from Glenda. I already miss hearing her overhead at work. I know she’s looking down over us all though, and man could she make you laugh. I will remember that smile and laugh.
