Condolences to the Family

My condolences to the family. I grew up in Lititz and remember seeing Jerry around town pretty much every day. Several decades later, I still remember his smiling face. He truly was a man who never met a stranger. May he rest in peace.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Jerry was one of the most genuine good people I ever knew. Each time we would meet on the street he would recount the memories of having my Mother as his English teacher. His smile was contagious. He will be missed. We are all from God and to Him we shall return.

I have lots of memories of Jerry; both seeing him at his Broad St. home when I visited Skip or seeing him pedalling around town on his bicycle. He often was standing outside his home and I would chat with him when returning from Bollinger’s store. These are all old memories as we haven’t lived in Lititz since 1971. He was certainly a Lititz fixture and will be missed.

I’ve missed seeing Jerry around town these past amazingly 15 years. Having lived on Broad St he was a frequent visitor. I pray he rests in peace.
Sincerely,
