George Cimmino, 60

George Cimmino, 60, of Lancaster, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at The Heart of Lancaster Medical Center.
Born in Belleville, NJ, he was the son of Theresa V. (Bollotta) Cimmino and the late Giro E. Cimmino.
George was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan and will always be remembered for his child like smile, which will be missed. Above all, George enjoyed spending time with his loving family and friends.
In addition to his loving mother, Theresa, George is survived by his six siblings; Anthony of Florida, Giro and Kim of York, PA, Michael and Karen of Lancaster, Salvatore of York, PA, Evelyn of Lancaster, and Mario and Kathy of Lancaster and a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. George was preceded in death by his father, Giro E. Cimmino.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, August 21 at 12PM at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory. Inc., 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home from 10:30AM for a viewing prior to the service. A private cremation will take place in the Snyder Crematory Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of George may be made to the National Alliance for Mentally Ill, 790 New Holland Ave, Lancaster, PA 17602 or to the American Cancer Society, 314 Good Dr., Lancaster, PA 17603

Hello Aunt Theresa and Cousins, 
This is sad news for sure, and I hope that if nothing else, the suffering Georgie endured has come to an end. I still remember that childhood smile myself, and always will.
