Gayle L. Land, 68

Gayle Louise Stockin Land passed away at home on June 19th, 2015 in Lititz, PA at the age of 68. She was born September 5, 1946 in Buffalo, NY to the late Douglas C. Stockin and Ruth (Aul) Stockin. Gayle is survived by her husband John Robert Land of Lititz, PA, and her two sons Jeremy Donald Wade and John Douglas Land of Lititz, PA; two grandchildren Christian and Darrion Wade; her siblings David (Marcie) Stockin of West Valley, NY, Gary (Linda) Stockin of Paradise, PA, Carol (Gary) Hoyt of Pavilion, NY; a loved foster sister Phillis (Harvey) Molock of Ithaca; many nieces and nephews.
She served in the Army during the Vietnam War from 1969-1971 as a phlebotomist and continued in this career for most of her adult life. Gayle will remembered as a woman who loved the Lord and her family. She was an avid reader and loved to play the piano. She was always thinking of others, using her hands to crochet special little gifts for them. She attended Bethel Baptist church, Manheim, PA.
A private graveside service with full military honors is scheduled for June 23, 2015 at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

Please allow me first to say- I am so sorry for your loss. I am a long lost cousin from New a jersey. My mother Martha was Ruth’s sister – so I’m thinking that makes me a cousin to Gayle.
