Gary P. Ruhl, 66

Gary P. Ruhl, 66, of Lancaster, PA, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2019. Gary was the loving husband of Janice (Conner) Ruhl, and together on April 21, 2019 they celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary.
He was an active member of multiple clubs including the Lancaster County Shrine, Red Rose Lodge #16 FOP, Harrisburg Consistory, Lancaster Lodge of Perfection, Lodge #43, Zembo Shrine and Lancaster Forrest #27. Gary was an avid golfer who loved to watch all kinds of sports, but most of all, he loved his family and spending time with them.
Gary is survived by his wife, Janice; his brother, Roger Ruhl; his children: Shannon Ruhl, Sharra Cauler, wife of Sean, Shayle McDonald, wife of Josh, and Shane Ruhl, husband of Diana; grandchildren: Jaedon, Skylar, Skylee, Ella, Nathan, Conner and a baby girl due in July.
A private service was held for the family. Gary is laid to rest at Riverview Burial Park, Lancaster. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 2900 N. Rocky Point Dr, Tampa, FL 33607 or to Autism Speaks, 1060 State Rd, Second Floor, Princeton, NJ 08540.
