Pat was my teammate and played right next to me on two of his teams: Ridley Township AA, and later the Wilmington Comets. We both played for the Philadelphia Bulldogs, but not the same years. Pat was an inspiration to me and a lot of our teammates. His entrepeneurship was contagious and his faith in Jesus was as well. Many of us helped him with one of his Christmas tree ventures. We were planning a golf outing in Florida for Pat, Bill Iacone, Gordy Wright and me, just as Pat came down with sickness. Sad to say, I am the only Comet left as far as I know. Too short! It still seems like yesterday and Pat and are still working out our crossblock strategy!

So many times I have told stories of Mr Stillman, my “first job at 16” boss, to the young people I have been privileged to mentor through the years. My hope is that I have been an influence in matters of faith and life, service, work and responsibility as effectively, comsistently and caringly as he was with me. I loved being part of the first team he hired at the Rt 30 East Dairy Queen.
My sympathies to your family in this time of loss. May God be near, surrounding you with his love and compassion, peace and joy.
Warmly, Sharon Givler

I alway enjoyed spending time with Pat, I loved his mind set of God life and business. I felt like I learned something useful every time we spoke, Pat was a mentor that I strive to be like in my own life. I was looking forward to seeing him in Marco Island at the end of October, I often think of Pat when I am conducting business and wonder how he would go about it. My father got to spend time in Hawaii with Pat, my father told me that Pat bragged on me when I wasn’t around, that ment the world to me. He will be truly missed, See you on the other side buddy.
