Forrest B. Rudy, Jr., age 79, passed away on December 8, 2024, at Lancaster Nursing & Rehab. He was born January 10, 1945, to Forrest Benjamin Rudy Sr. and Ida Mae (Strickler) Rudy. He was the loving husband of Robin (Rupp) Rudy for over 38 years.
Forrest is remembered for his many dedicated years working for Goods Disposal service, and was a long-time worshipper at Lititz Trinity, with his family. A self-taught musician, he enjoyed playing the mandolin, guitar, and banjo. He spent many Fridays at Green Dragon, and at one time was an avid collector of cowboy boots. He greatly enjoyed watching Manheim Central Barons football. He enjoyed the preaching of Tony Evans. Forrest had a special sweet tooth for the peanut butter eggs from Lititz Trinity.
He is survived by his wife Robin, their children, Tabitha Chappel of Lititz, Timothy Rudy of Denver, and Kezia Rudy of Lititz, his granddaughter Juliarose, and siblings, Elva Shearer, Randy Rudy, Donald Rudy, Ida Sweigart, and Bonnie Dietrich, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in passing by his siblings, Mary Good, Kenneth Rudy, and Carl Rudy.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

I am sorry for your loss. This his sister Bonnie. I want remember him playing guitar 🎸 and singing and running from Reamstown to Ephrata. He like his hair to be just right. I know he is with Jesus. He is not suffering anymore. Rest in peace brother. I love
