Floyd Eugene Ile Jr., 69
October 30, 1955 - October 26, 2025
Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Floyd Eugene Ile Jr., left a lasting mark on the lives of everyone he met. With a heart of gold and a gift for gab, Floyd touched countless lives with his lovable personality, kindness, and generosity.
Floyd’s career was marked by dedication and hard work, spanning multiple roles at Waste Management, Levins Egg Company, and most notably, over 20 years at Beechdale Builders. Under the guidance of Sam and Emma King, Floyd honed his carpentry skills and became a trusted driver, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues.
Floyd adored his wife Kim, his partner in laughter, love, and life’s adventures. Together, they lit up every room with their warmth, quick wit, and unmistakable spark—a duo whose joy was contagious and whose bond was deeply felt by all who knew them. He was a devoted father to his children: Pete Adams (Mel), Jr. Nieves (Jackie), Jason Ile (Annie), Barb Myers (Jeff), Sarah Harkins (Brandon), and Brian Shaeffer (Sue). His 19 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren adored him, and he loved spending time with them and enjoying the joy they brought to his life.
Floyd’s legacy extends far beyond his impressive work ethic. He was a people person, with a quick wit and infectious smile that put everyone at ease. His love for conversation and connection inspired a community of friends and acquaintances who will deeply miss him.
Preceded in death by his loving wife, Sandy Ile; father, Floyd Ile Sr.; and brother, Raymond Ile, Floyd is also survived by his mother, Audrey Ile; siblings Brenda Ile, Robert Ile, Lloyd Ile, Vicki Ile, and Linda Quenzer; and a multitude of loved ones. His memory will live on through the countless lives he touched.
Rest in peace, dear Dad. Your love, kindness, and legacy will be cherished forever. We’ll see you again one day.

Petey and family of Floyd
So sorry for your loss. Always enjoyed talking to Floyd at the gas station and Turkey Hill when we were getting our scratch offs. He was a lot luckier than I was.

To a great man who left me with so many memories going up on the “hill”
Your love of Your children is what every father should be.
From hanging on the back of a trash truck as kid was like the coolest thing. Rollerskating with you on Poplar st. While you held a boom box was all the rave.
My best memories are from all the Ile boys. You guys rocked the hill! William schaeffer
