Evelyn F. (Quinn) Myers, 81
January 19, 2014
Evelyn F. (Quinn) Myers, 81, of Lancaster, left us peacefully on Sunday, January 19, 2014 to be reunited with her daughter, Sue Ellen.
At her side was her husband of 57 years, William L. Myers. They were married January 12, 1957. Her son, William L. Myers. Jr and his wife Lisa, her son Jeffrey T. Myers and his wife Virginia (Ginny), her daughter, Tina M. Weaver and her husband Mark, her son Glenn E. Myers and his wife Robin, her grandchildren Eric and his wife Sheena, Brian and his fiancée Katrina (not in body but spirit), Matthew and his girlfriend Christie, Ethan and his wife Christy, Paige, Jordan, Hannah, Rachel, and the newest addition, great grandbaby Brady, were also at her bedside.
Evelyn was born November 30, 1932, and was the daughter of the late Harry and Ruth (Hershock) Quinn. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Jim, Tim, Harry, and Mary.
“This obituary may not be filled with many adventures or what would be perceived as great accomplishments by today’s standards, but she accomplished the most important thing that can be and that was to raise all us kids in a stable, loving, fun household with my father for 57 years. That will give us and our kids many, many memories to tide us over until we see her again. Thanks Mom. This goes out to you over that darn dot.com machine.”
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM Friday, January 24, 2014 at St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, Lancaster. Friends will be received from 1 to 2 PM prior to the graveside at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 N. George St., Millersville, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Salvation Army, 131 S. Queen St., Lancaster, PA 17603.

I’m very sorry to hear of Eveyln’s passing, my condolences to her family and friends. I have very fond memories of going to visit Aunt Evelyn and Uncle Bill, I was younger then but I remember lots of laughing and great stories with every visit. Those good times and cherished memories will be with me always. Rest in peace, Evelyn.
