Evelyn A. Osman, 89
Evelyn A. Osman, 89, of 675 Willow Valley Square, Lancaster, Pa. died January 1, 2008 at the Glen.
Born in Oil City, Pa, she was the daughter of the late William Trube and Lolla M. Foy Allen. She was a graduate of Oil City High School. Evelyn was the wife of the late Jack E. Osman who died April 6, 1993.
A resident of Lancaster, since 1978 and a resident of Willow Valley Manor since 1984.She and her husband were among the first residents when the facility opened in 1984. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, and member of numerous social and charitable organizations. Her interests include Bridge (a master duplicate bridge player), playing the piano, entertaining, cooking, interior decorating, collecting and refinishing antiques, gardening, and travel.
Surviving is a daughter, Joanne Osman wife of Arthur A. Haberberger of Reading, two grandchildren; Jon C. husband of Laura Osman, Todd J. husband of Lisa Osman, both of Pittsburgh, Pa., two great grandsons, four great granddaughters, three sisters; Geraldine Bish, Erie, Emogene Turcic, Greenville, Bernice Rinehart, Golden, CO. Evelyn was preceded in death by a son, Jack W. Osman.
Services will be private and held at the conveniences of the family. Please omit flowers. Contributions may be made in Evelyn’s memory to First Presbyterian Church, 140 East Orange Street, Lancaster, PA. 17602. Arrangements made by the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home.

I was so sorry to hear of your mothers passing. I just got the notice in the mail from my sister, Helen, today.
I well remember the lovely lady she was. I remember your dad as well. I was not aware that your brother Jack had died as well.
I remember your family as being close.
