Ethel S. Hauck, 80

Ethel S. Hauck, 80, of Lancaster, passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2010 at Lancaster General Hospital. She was born in Lancaster to the late Chester W. and Anna M. (Brubaker) Stoner.

Ethel was preceded in death by her husband Thomas W. Hauck in 2000.

Ethel was employed by the School District of Lancaster as a secretary at Lincoln Middle School and retired after twenty-five years. She previously worked at Armstrong World Industries as secretary.

Ethel was a 1947 graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School.

She was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church.

Ethel enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family, friends and her membership at the Best Western Eden Resort Swim Club.

She is survived by three sons, Thomas W., husband of Theresa A., of Lancaster, Geoffrey L., husband of Linda, of Lancaster, Matthew E., husband of Dawn, of Elizabethtown, two grandchildren, Sloan and Brynn, and brother-in-law, Robert Biggs, of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by a sister Marian Biggs.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church 601 E. Delp Rd. Lancaster, PA 17601 at 11am with the Rev. Paul Theisz as Celebrant. A viewing will be held at the church from 10-11am. Final Commendation and Farewell will take place from St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum.
