What a blessing for my husband and I to have known you and your family early in life. We were shown so much love, wisdom and graciousness. I will always remember the lovely and often long talks around your dinner table about life and ministry and family, with little Enoch on my lap and Rosemary and Andrea walking by us freely grabbing a fruit or something and chatting with us here and there. I remember you coming over to give us your fresh baked bread, kimchi, whatever goodies and your presence. Loved catching up with you each time we got to visit. Thank you for the love you have always given us. Your smile indeed was infectious and your generous and cheerful spirit warmed our hearts. Thank you and see you soon in our Father’s home. We love you Jipsanim, Rosemary, Andrea! Lynette Shin

Dear David, we are so sorry to hear of Esther’s passing. We remember fondly the time we shared with you and Esther as part of the Belmont small group through Grace Chapel. It’s hard to think of a more joyful, more loving, and more wise person than Esther. It was a true privilege to know her. We wish you peace and comfort. Love, Cori and Mike Yankovich

Esther and her husband Kwang were very instrumental in me and wife being where we are as people and as a pastor couple pastoring a church in Houston. She and another sister from my previous church in Boston came down to New York and sang a beautiful song during our wedding. We had many wonderful times together at their house in Belmont, MA over coffee or good meals. Her love for God and His church was exceptional. We miss her but we shall see her soon.

We pray for God’s peace for David, Rosemary,  Andrea and all family members.  Esther had such a beautiful spirit touched by God’s grace.  I had many enjoyable conversations with her about her paintings which were enjoyed by all.  She gave God all the glory for this talent developed later in life.  She will be remembered well by the Grace Chapel family.  May God give you all His peace that she is now with her Savior.  Love, Dori Rhodes

I will miss Esther dearly.  I have a fond memory of going to Guatemala with her and David for two weeks on a mission’s trip.  I will hold that dear memory of her in my heart.
She was a beautiful person, cared deeply for the poor and had a relationship with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  We also shared a love for singing and painting.
Esther, give Jesus my love for me and I will see you in heaven when the Lord calls me home!
Love.
