Mr. Brown or “uncle B” was a great guy. He always put a smile on the faces of everyone who walked into his office. His kindness and generosity helped me through a bad time in my life. Wish I could give him one last dab up and thank him for everything. I know he wouldn’t want us to be too sad and would tell us to smile and cherish everyday we are given. Fly high brother. It’s not goodbye it’s see you later. Prayers out to Mr. Browns’ family and friends.

I’m so sad and crushed in spirit. You were and will always be my brother. You and I shared so much in common, we laughed, we cried, we sang together. You were my biggest supporter and my kids adored you. I can’t put into words how much you changed my life. I will miss you my dearest friend. Save me a spot on the choir in heaven brother because we are going to sing to the Lord together. I love you dear friend. Olga

To Brown’s Family and Friends
My Deepest sympathies
I know God doesn’t make mistakes he wanted the best by his side, words can not Express the loss that I feel. Brown and I worked together for 14 years. There was no kinder, caring, loving, humbler and giving person I know, he was a Blessing, always ready to do, give and give more of himself. He kept me laughing and on point. The love he had for people could not be measured he always had a kind word ( and some other words to) but the love and respect he had for his students and they for him could not be measured. Brown was and forever will be TSCT. BOY’S of HERRINGTON HALL do Uncle B, Brown, Mr.Brown, Pop’s PROUD!!

Ernie was a source of support for countless students at Stevens. He was always willing to listen, and students felt comfortable talking to him. Ernie was positive, quiet and caring. He offered help to students in need. He did not seek recognition but was awarded the College’s Diversity Award. He will be missed by the campus community.

Mr. Brown,
Was like a father to me and all my Herrington brothers we all may not always have got along or saw eye to eye but pops was the peace and the rock everyone looked up to. It hurts to know that one of mine and Herrington’s role models is no longer there to guide us with a smile and positive energy one that one would need if they were in a rough patch. There’s too much that could be said about this legend and inspiring man but Rest In Peace Pops I’ll update you when it’s my time to meet the man upstairs

Mr. Brown as my son Terrell Tuggle would call him was a huge reason that my boy didn’t leave Thaddeus Stevens. It was my sons 1st time away from home and Mr. Brown was that friend and father figure that gave my boy a sense of comfort to stay at school.

Ernie, my friend, classmate and one who always made us laugh. And when you threw your head back and laughed, you LAUGHED! The one whose smile was contagious and you couldn’t help but smile. You said what you said and meant what you said and kept it moving. You were authentically you and that’s one of the things that I loved about you the most. I was looking forward to seeing you at our 30th year class reunion next year. I may not see you there, but I will see you in my heart until I see you beyond these skies. I love you my friend. Felton, you already know and Carla, Dexter and the rest of the family I pray the strength and comfort of the Lord to each of you individually and collectively. My parents Steve Cole & Yolanda Thomas-Cole also send their deepest condolences and prayers to you. Please let me know how I can support you.

Ernie and I graduated from high school together. He was that guy who always kept things “lite”. Always laughing and he was a good dancer. Real good brother and after graduation we ran into each other several years later and he was still the same cool dude. I’m really saddened to hear of his passing. May the peace of God grant the family all they need during the days, months and years to come.
