Erasmo “Indio” Sanchez, 76

Erasmo “Indio” Sanchez, 76, passed away peaceful in his sleep on January 30, 2023. Indio was born to the late Justiliano Sanchez and Raquel Ortiz in Puerto Rico. He spent many years of his life as missionary spreading the word of God to many. He settled in Lancaster 40+ years ago and made it his home.
Indio was a talented musician and loved to play the guitar and the congas. He recorded many songs in the Christian music genre. He loved traveling and socializing and he was always good for a laugh. Indio had a loving heart. He will be sorely missed by his family and those who knew him.
He is survived by his children, Rita Mcdonald and husband Mariano, Ada Montero, Erasmo Sanchez Jr the 1st, Liz Rodriguez and her husband Anthony, Rosa Sanchez, Erasmo Sanchez Jr. the 2nd, Lizette Sanchez, Mirta Manso and her husband Grabriel, and Dorcas Rodriguez; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Services will be held at the convenience of family.
