Elizabeth Peifer, 76

Elizabeth (Brandt) Peifer, 76, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 9, 2013 at Conestoga View.

Born in Lancaster, she was the wife of the late Cyrus K. Peifer, who passed away in 1998, and the daughter of the late Abram and Mabel (Steinmetz) Brandt.

She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, Lancaster.

Elizabeth is survived by two sons, Grant Peifer of Naples, FL and Wendell Peifer and his companion Sweta Vyas of Lancaster; two granddaughters, Ashley and Megan Peifer; and two sisters, Mary Hornish and her husband John of Lampeter and Grace Maurer and her husband Sam of Lancaster.  She was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy and Allen Brandt.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz with Rev. Debra J. Schreiber officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10 to 11:30 AM prior to the service at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Columbia at 1:30 PM.
