We were truly blessed to have such a wonderful neighbor! We enjoyed many laughs with Liz and have thought of her often since she moved from Putter Avenue. May the Lord grant you peace and comfort.

Where do I begin? Liz played a big part in my childhood (even before I was born) and I called her Aunt Liz. My mom, Georgia Savage/Allan Savage were part of the Dane club, showed Mountdania’s Yvette “Yetty” at Madison Square Gardens and won best of show. Yetty was one of Amos and Anna Mary Kauffman’s dogs. Many a Saturday night were spent at Kauffman’s while the adults (Liz included) played pinochle while I lounged and had fun with Dane puppies and adult Danes. And lots of dog shows were attended with Liz, Amos, Anna Mary, Dick and Nancy Martin, Dave and Leon, Alice Stauffer and many others.
My mom also also worked with Liz at the bank for many, many years.
I will always remember Liz’s smile because her face just lit up. She was so pretty!
I am so very sorry for your loss. May the memories of Liz live in your heart forever, I know they will mine.

May you and Tom enjoy playing a nice hand of gin rummy, A.L. We so enjoyed Aunt Liz’s company. I have many fond memories of playing cards and eating veal parmigiana with her at her favorite restaurant. Rest In Peace. pat Euzent

My sincere condolences to her family. My family and I will miss Liz so much. We got our first fawn Great Dane from Liz and Anna Mary Kaufman. They were both wonderful mentors and friends.
