Eleni M. Thlivitis, 91

Eleni M. Thlivitis, 91, of Manheim Township, Lancaster, passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Kallimasia, Chios, Greece, she was the daughter of the late Constantinos and Argiro (Manes) Stamoulis.

Eleni was preceded in death by her husband, Michael G. Thlivitis, in 2011.

She was a homemaker most of her life as well as a former seamstress for Mary Sachs.

Eleni was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, the Philoptochos Society, and St. Emilianos Society of Kallimasia.

She enjoyed going to the Agapi bible study at her church, and spending time with her family, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and friends. Some of her favorite hobbies were sewing and baking.

Surviving is a daughter, Melpa Mountis, wife of George A., of Lancaster; two granddaughters, Elene Moran, wife of Sean, of Pittsburgh, and Athena Billis, wife of Nicholas, of Lancaster; five great-grandchildren, George, Alexandra and Christopher Moran, and Stefanos and Angeliki Billis, a sister, Amalia Stefanakis, of New York. She was preceded in death by nine siblings.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at 10:30AM at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 64 Hershey Ave., Lancaster, PA 17603 with The Rev. Alexander Goussetis officiating. A viewing will be held on Monday at the church from 6-8:30PM with a Trisagion Service at 7PM and again on Tuesday from 9:30-10:30AM. Interment will be in Conestoga Memorial Park.
