Condolences to the Family

My sympathies to the Tolin family. I was fortunate to have gotten to know Earls Tolin and his son, Gary, both of whom I have not seen in many years, perhaps 40 or more. My very fond memories are of Earls’ mother, Lorna Simmons Tolin, whom I called “Aunt Lorna or Aunt Lornie”, and who was the sister of my maternal grandfather, Lester “Lefty” F. Simmons. Lester had two daughters, Sandy and my mother, Lorna Simmons. My mom married Joseph Nolt (Jr.). Blessings and peace to all through this remembrance of Earls, Joe Nolt, III.

Mary Ann and Family, We saw Earl’s notice in the paper. We both have fond memories of our trips to alaska and the times we shared in Anchorage. We have fond memories of Earls. He seemed to smooth out the rough spots in life. Our sympathies, John and Sharon Sheaffer

Dear Mary Ann,  I am so sorry to learn of Earls passing.  Please accept my deepest sympathy.  He was such a likeable guy; I’m so happy he was part of my life during our high school years.  We made lots of memories.  I wish you didn’t have to go on this journey, but somehow we survive it.  With Love, Ferne Edmonds

Dear Mary Ann,
Please accept my sympathy on the passing of Earls.  He was one of the most likeable, friendly guys that I graduated with.  I will never forget how he and Tom Witman were my “partners”, actually saviors, in science/biology class.  They did all the disecting for me and I was forever grateful.  I will keep you in my thoughts as you move forward without him.  It is never an easy journey, as I know, but we do go on and are thankful we have family to lean on.  Sincerely,  Carol Flora
