Earl Fry, Jr., Jr.

Earl Fry, Jr., 84, of Lancaster, died Monday, February 25, 2019 while under the care of Hospice & Community Care. He was the husband of Janet L. (Foulk) Fry for over 57 years.

Earl was a veteran and was honorably discharged after serving in the 7^th Army.

He was a member of Highview Church of God.

Earl owned and operated Fry’s Tours and had also owned and operated Fry’s Carpet Cleaning.

Born in Manor Township, he was the son of the late Earl and Esther (Witmer) Fry. In addition to Janet, he is survived by a son, Bruce married to Debra (Aument) Fry of Strasburg; two grandchildren, R. Scott Fry and Christine Fry, both of Lancaster; a sister, Judith Dagen of Lititz and a brother, James married to Suzy Fry of Lancaster. Earl was preceded in death by two sisters, Jane Lawrence and Arlene Wolfe and two brothers, Nelson Fry and Ken Fry.

There will be a viewing on Friday, March 1, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM in the Bachman Funeral Home, 7 South Decatur Street, Strasburg, PA, and again on Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 10:00 until 11:00 AM in Highview Church of God, 2470 Leaman Road, Ronks, PA. The funeral is 11:00 AM in the church with Pastor Tom Myers officiating. Interment in Strasburg Mennonite Cemetery will follow the service.
