Dorothy M. Rohrer, 97

Dorothy M. Rohrer, 97, died on Sunday, August 10, at Manor Care Nursing Home in Elizabethtown. She was the daughter of the late Tillman & Mazzie Zook.
She was the wife of the late Harold S. Rohrer who died in 1992.
Until her retirement, she was employed at RCA for thirty years.
She was a longtime committee person of the Women’s Republican Club and recording secretary of the IBEW.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Donald R. Zook (Joette), Barbara L. Millhouse (Robert), Douglas E. Rohrer (Karen), and Kathy A. Wall (Ken); 8 grandchildren and two sisters, Velma Andrews (Paul) and Evelyn Evans. She was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dorothy’s memory may be sent to Hospice & Community Care, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.

Aunt Dorothy I am so glad I got to meet you and your children right after my mother died in 1986. Mom,
You were an inspiration to me and a second mother who loved me iunconditionaly. I cant think of my teenage years and into my 20’s without thinking of you and Scott. I love you and will miss you and will keep your memory alive in my heart until we see each other one day. Say hi to Scotty for me.
