To all the Nicklaus Family, but especially Paul & Elaine & family, Jimmy & Marianne & family, and Carol. we were all so sorry to hear of the loss of your mom. We have many fond memories of Aunt Dottie (and Uncle Paul). We were grateful for the times when they met us down at the shore, the family reunions, and visiting them at their home. Dottie was always so sweet & gracious to us. We will miss her presence and especially said to know that she is the last of this Nicklaus generation to leave us.
Sending all our love,
Paula & Mike Akiya and family (Jess Akiya, Kate & Nick Gray, and Ben & Matthew Carp)

My classmates and I were at Pleasant View for our clinical training in our CNA class from March 12th to the 23rd. In those short two weeks, we all fell in love with Dorothy and were sad to leave and go back to school because of her. She is one of the sweetest women I have ever met in my life and I will never forget her or her smile. You and your loved ones will be in my thoughts and prayers.
