Dorothea M. Roberts, 93

Dorothea M. Roberts, 93, of Luther Acres, passed away on Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Elsworth E. and Louise (Fauver) Gates.

She is survived by her husband Walter H. Roberts.

Dorothea was a homemaker who enjoyed collecting and going to flee markets.

She was a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband, are two sons, Darrell Roberts, of Virginia, and Ronald Roberts, husband of Judith, of Lafeyette, CA, two grandchildren, Carla and Eric Roberts. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Nelson Gates, and a sister, Bertha Terrell.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 5, 2012 at 10AM at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory 3110 Lititz Pike with The Rev. Jeffrey Webb officiating. Viewing will be from 9:30-10AM. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mount Calvary Lutheran Church 308 Petersburg Rd.
