Doris C. Wagner, 95

Doris C. Wagner, 95, of Millersville, formerly of Lancaster passed away peacefully Sunday, October 19, 2025. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Francis J. and Catherine L. (Rawhauser) Kipphorn. She was the wife of the late Donald E. Wagner who passed away in 1985.
She was a graduate of the former St. Joseph School and Lancaster Catholic High School. Doris started her career at Armstrong World Industries but later started and was the director of the first Senior Center at Rodney Park in Lancaster for over 42 years. She helped organize food and clothing drives for Rodney Park, St. Joseph Church and other local organizations.
Doris hosted tea and holiday parties for local seniors every year for 40 years. She also loved playing cards with several friends every Friday for the last 30 years.
Surviving Doris are her niece, nephew, great nieces, great nephews, and many cousins. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her children: Chris, Donna and James Wagner and her two sisters, Jean E. Link and Julia Ann McKenzie.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM on Friday, October 24, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 440 St. Joseph St, Lancaster. Interment will be in Conestoga Memorial Park on Saturday, October 25th at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Doris’s memory may be made to the church at the above address and Hospice & Community Care, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
