Donovan E. Carpenter, 48

July 28, 2016

Donovan E. Carpenter, 48, of Manheim, entered into the loving care of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, July 28, 2016. Born in Lancaster, Donovan was the son of Donald E. and Rosemary (Keller) Carpenter. He was the loving husband of Lori (Engle) Carpenter.
Donovan owned and operated Precision Paintless Dent Repair in Manheim and was known as the Dent King. He was of the Christian faith and had a heart of gold. A meticulous person, Donovan was a hard worker who liked to keep things neat and orderly. He loved his 2 American Bulldogs, Kody and Kaymen.
In addition to his wife and parents, Donovan is survived by his son, Keith “KC” Carpenter, fiancé of Kate Sheaffer, and his daughter, Heather Forrey; two grandchildren, Zoe and Bentley; siblings: Travis, husband of Tammy, of Manheim, and Susanna, wife of Lee Green, III, of East Earl; and paternal grandfather, Victor D. Carpenter, of Manheim.
Memorial Services for Donovan will be held at 7PM, Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543, with services led by the Worship Center. A visitation will be held from 6-7PM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to help defray funeral expenses.

Condolences to the Family

Lori, I was down a Youtube rabbit hole, and was listening to some music that reminded me of You and Donny. When I looked him up, it NEVER occurred to me that I would find this.  My heart is broken and my deepest sympathies go in your direction.  If ever you wish to get in touch, catch up, I would love to reminice about times past.  I miss both of you, and I am so sad to find out he is no longer with us.
