Donald E. Lamkin, 81, died Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 9:40PM at Lancaster General Hospital after a brief illness.
Don is survived by his daughter, Lora Lamkin, son, Bill Lamkin, 6 grandchildren and wife Betty Lamkin. He was preceded in death by his brother, William Lamkin of Tampa, FL.
Don was an avid golfer. Don loved football, NASCAR, going to the beach, cruises and spending time with loved ones.
Don was originally from Washington, D.C. and lived in Silver Spring, MD. Don worked in the automotive industry and worked at Thunander Corporation.
In keeping with Don’s wishes there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Hospice & Community Care, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.

I’ll always remember Don calling me “darling” and how he would do absolutely anything Betty asked him to do. (even repaint the living room multiple times over until they got JUST the right color) Thankful that you’re now free of any pain, Don. Until we see each other again.

Don was my brother-in-law and a memorable one. memories of golfing at Myrtle Beach with the two Lamkin boys and their wives will last me forever. Don had a sense of humor and an outgoing personality. I miss you, Don, God Speed !!!! PAM (see you at the ranch) Pamela C Lamkin
