Dolores V. Paulsen, age 93, of Ephrata, PA, passed away peacefully at Keystone Villa on December 3, 2024. Born in Manheim, PA, she was the daughter of the late Warren M. and Edith E. Witmyer. Dolores was a proud graduate of Manheim Central High School and went on to pursue a career in cosmetology, becoming a talented and beloved hairdresser.

In her free time, Dolores enjoyed creating craft pieces through crocheting and keeping her mind sharp by completing crossword puzzles. She shared a deep and loving bond with her husband, William C. Paulsen, III, with whom she celebrated nearly 73 wonderful years of marriage. Her family was her greatest treasure; she found immense joy in gathering with them for Sunday dinners, where laughter and love filled the air. She was also lovingly known as “Nanny” by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a title that reflected her warm and nurturing spirit.

In addition to her devoted husband, Bill, Dolores is survived by her daughters: Carol Zimmerman (wife of Robert) of Lititz, Diane Paulsen of Lititz and Dolores Paulsen of Lititz; three grandchildren: Robert Zimmerman, II, Adam Zimmerman and Daniel Zimmerman (husband of Stephanie); two great grandchildren: Madeline and Brynlee Zimmerman and two step great grandchildren: Kensington and Brogan Myers as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Dolores is preceded in death by all of her siblings.

Services honoring Dolores will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
