I have so many amazing memories of Aunt Doll and Uncle Stipey. We would visit them often and many times I would fall asleep in their bed watching SNL with Eric and my sister, Debbie, only to wake up at home in my own bed in the morning. I was so young that to me it was like magic. They invited my wife, stepdaughter and I over to visit one time years ago and when I talked to my stepdaughter about Aunt Doll’s passing, the first thing she said was, “Well now she can have her Manhattan with Uncle Stipey again!” I thought that that was a very good point! They’re together again. Thoughts, love and prayers to the whole family.

I’m sorry to hear of Dollys passing. She and Stipy were a joy to visit with my mom and dad Martha and Tom Edwards. She always made you welcome in there home and I liked playing with my second cousins. She will be deeply missed, but she is now with her beloved Stipy and her parents. I have so many wonderful memories of Aunt Doll and Uncle Dick, they were so important to me as I grew up.  Their home was always open to all and a comfort to me.  Aunt Doll gave me some wonderful advice over the years, I will always be grateful to her for all of her love to me and my family.
I send my love to Dick, Pam, Craig, Pat and Eric.  I am sorry that I can’t be at the service.  I love you all.

I am the oldest of the 10 grandchildren and I have many special, loving memories with Nanny and Pappy. Whether it was Sunday afternoon lunch after church, Christmas eve parties or Easter dinner. She always created a warm, welcoming, and loving atmosphere, and she knew how to throw a party. I am so happy my children have had the opportunity to spend special moments with her too. My heart goes out to my dad and mom, my sister, my uncles and aunts and the rest of the family. We lost a very special person. Rest in peace Nanny.

Heartfelt condolences to the Stipe family! Mrs. Stipe was my God Mother who never forgot my birthday and I looked forward to getting her cards with her sweet messages inside them. Always looked forward visiting the Stipes when we would visit my cousins who lived near by. She always had a kind word to say to me and was truly beautiful inside and out. Her smile would light up a room and I will cherish my memories of her until we meet again.❤️🙏🏼

I had the pleasure of meeting Dolly and her husband “Stipie” back in June of 2006 when I purchased their home here on Poplar Street. They were so wonderful in helping me to buy their family home and I am still here. My deepest sympathies to learn about the passing away of Dolly and may she rest in peace and my prayers and thoughts to all of the Stipe family.

As a kid, much time was spent with Aunt Doll, Uncle Stipe and my cousins, which means there are always memories that bring laughter to our conversations when we reminisce about those moments.  She is now with Stipie and her parents and siblings … all so happy together.  You will be missed, Aunt Doll, but always loved. My prayers and sympathy to her family.

I grew up close to my Aunt Doll. She was an amazing woman. She definitely had a  serving heart. No need to call ahead for a visit. If she and Uncle Dick were home, you were welcome. It would’ve been an amazing reunion in heaven.
