Dennis J. Guilbault, 65

Dennis J. Guilbault, 65, of Landisville died unexpectedly Monday, July 21, 2014 at Hershey Medical Center. Born in Pawtucket, RI he was the son of the late Rosaire and Irene (Pacheco) Guilbault. He was married to Theresa “Elaine” (Flynn) Guilbault with whom he would have celebrated 43 years of marriage in September.

Dennis attended Rhode Island Junior College and received a Bachelor’s degree from Bryant University in Smithfield, RI. He began his career in Providence, RI at ITT Grinnell Corp. and relocated to the Lancaster area to work at the ITT Grinnell Corp. in Columbia. Prior to retirement, he was Controller at Pendu Manufacturing, Inc. in New Holland.

In addition, Dennis was in the Rhode Island National Guard for over 12 years.

He was a member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church and the Elks Lodge #134 in Lancaster.

Dennis enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially his grandchildren.

He was a huge Oakland Raiders fan and an avid home brewer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards and spending time at his cabin and the beach.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, a daughter, Denise E., wife of Dennis Dougherty; A son, D. Keith Guilbault, both of Landisville, PA. Also surviving are four grandchildren: Michaela, DJ, Katilee, and Thomas. He was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Luciano.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11AM on Monday, July 28, 2014 at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 2427 Marietta Ave, Lancaster, PA 17601. The family will receive friends from 5-7PM on Sunday, July 27, 2014, at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543 with a Vigil Service at 7PM. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s New Catholic Cemetery.
