Cindy and Ginny –

I was so saddend when I read about Dennis’s passing.  The last time we got together was for lunch a couple months ago and I could tell he was slipping further, but I had no idea that he declined so quickly.  I was hoping that we’d be able to get together again soon but now we will have to wait for me to show up where he is now.  I will be there on Saturday.  Stay as strong as you can.

I am so sorry for your loss!  I have fond memories of our families going on vacation together, especially when “Butch” & I took our turn at “cooking” the meal.  Those were the best hamburgers.
My Mom & I send our deepest sympathies.  Sorry we won’t be able to attend the funeral as I have family obligations in NJ and my mother’s health is not good, but you will be in our thoughts and prayers.

I was in Dennis’ class at both McCaskey and Lancaster Township Junior High and remember what a genuinely nice person Dennis was. In LT’s yearbook, the caption with his picture is “Quiet…and so very kind to everyone.”
With sympathy at your loss, Sharon Ervin Lahr
