Deborah L. Zimmerman, 70

December 23, 2024

Deborah L. Zimmerman, 70, of Quarryville, passed away on December 23, 2024

She was the wife of the late Donald E. Zimmerman, who passed away in 2023. Born in West Grove, Chester County, she was the daughter of the late William and Eleanor Morrison Bard.

Deborah had worked as a waitress over the years, working at places such as the Varsity Grill in Oxford, and the YMCA in Jennersville.

She loved flowers of all kinds and designed her own arrangements. She had a wide range of interests, from 70s music, to horror movies, to birds and dogs. She loved sitting out side enjoying the birds and squirrels on the summer days. When she would talk about her music she would always say you have to memorize the beat of the music before learning the words. She always looked forward to trying the new recipes her youngest granddaughter, Kendall would make for her but she would tell her exactly how she felt about it or what needed to be added. What she loved the most in life was her family, especially being with her granddaughters.

Deborah is survived by her daughter: Cathy Himelright, companion to Keith Graybeal, of Quarryville; her granddaughters Kaitlyn and Kendall Himelright, and her niece, Missy Lewis. Also her granddoggy Poppy.
