Deborah Joan “Deb” Riggins, 61

Deborah Joan “Deb” Riggins, 61, of Lancaster, formerly of Morristown, NJ, passed away on February 10, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Morristown, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Ronald and Joan (Lanternman) Nutt and the beloved wife of Richard Riggins.
A wife, sister, and friend, the most important title to Deborah was mother. In addition to raising four sons that she was extremely proud, Deb opened her arms and her heart to everyone as if they were her own children. As the matriarch of her family she was an integral part of planning and preparing meals family events. Her cooking was absolutely delicious and the highlight of many family get togethers. She will be remembered for her selflessness and the infinite love that she had for her family.
In addition to her husband of 38 years, Richard, Deb is survived by her sons; Richard Riggins Jr., Todd Riggins and his wife Dawn and their two kids, Jake and Brooke Riggins, Matthew Riggins and his wife Shelby, and Michael Lanternman and his two daughters Samatha and Hailey Lanternman. She is also survived by her mother, Judy Nutt, and her siblings; brother Joseph Nutt and his wife Beth and their two children Brittany and Andrew Nutt, sister Cheryl Knevals and her husband Bruce and their children Shannon Knevals, Kevin Knevals, and Kevin’s wife Katie, sister Joan Cirella and her husband Anthony and their children Savannah and Anthony Cirella, sister Pamela Nutt-Hayes and her husband Charles and their daughter Brandy Hayes, and sister Doris Yeager and her husband Peter and their three sons Brandon, Justin, and Peter Yeager. Preceding her in death are her parents, Ronald and Joan Nutt, and her brothers Ronald Lanterman and Timothy Nutt.
Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
