December 09, 2014
Dean M. Bucher, 58, of Lititz, passed away on Tuesday, December 9th, surrounded by his family and friends. Born on October 12, 1956, he was the son of the late Omar H. and Geraldine M. Bucher. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Robin L. (Parker) Bucher, who was the love of his life.
Those who knew Dean will always remember his big smile and caring heart. That was most evident when he was spending time with his wife, daughters, Brooke & Ashley, son-in-law, James, and his grandchildren, Cooper and Ava, to whom he was known as “Poppy”.
Dean enjoyed life and loved to travel anywhere warm and tropical. He was most relaxed on the beach with his wife, family and friends.
Dean was co-owner of Durex Coverings, Inc., a family owned business started by his father in 1964. His work ethic was inspiring and he was a mentor to many.
Dean is also survived by his brothers, Bruce R. (Donna), Lititz, PA and Larry E. (Deborah), Loveland, OH, and nieces and nephews.
A Service Celebrating Dean’s Life will be at 3PM on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. Robin, so sorry for your loss. I pray you and your family find comfort and peace in the beautiful hope of a forthcoming worldwide Paradise, where as Jesus foretold, we will once again embrace our resurrected loved ones to never lose them again. Keep hIs words as found in John 5:28, 29 close to your heart. There he says: “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming, in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life…” For a short while Dean will be resting peacefully as Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10 lets us know and will soon awaken to a beautiful life. My sincerest condolences to you and your family.
