Dawn M. Hoover, 70
August 13, 1951 - May 25, 2022
Dawn M. Hoover, 70, of Lancaster, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at Lancaster General Hospital, following an extended illness. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Robert G. Reese and the late Jean (Bretz) Reese Ulrich.
Dawn graduated from Elizabethtown High School. She previously worked for Armstrong Industries in Lancaster, and later for Donnelley Printing for 25 years, until her health required her to take medical leave.
Dawn is survived by her sister, Sharon R. Linard and Sharon’s husband Jay of Morganton, NC; two nephews, Braden Linard and Jayson Linard (Whitney); and great nieces and nephews Payton, Graydon, Asher and Elliott.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 15, 2022, at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Following the gathering, Dawn’s life celebration will continue at a luncheon. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dawn’s memory may be made to the Humane League of Lancaster County, 2195 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, PA 17602.

Dawn,I will miss the many funny long phone conversations we had through out the years.And I’m very happy that you and Sharon had a chance to take a trip to the beach last August..that meant alot to both of you .May you soar and dance through thur the clouds and the heavens and feel comfort in the arms of our creator. Two of the beauties I loved about you ,were your humor and your gorgeous Green eyes. Rest in peace Dawn Hoover, I will be missed.With love,Kathy Parent Kathy Parent

hello sharon and family,you dont know me but dawn spoke of ya’ll alot when i lived in lancaster and visited her .we had some wonderful times together, a camping trip in my motor home , sitting at riverside club, just enjoying life . the last time we spoke i had lost my fiancee to cancerand she told me about hers. we also worked together at donnelly , ilasted for 30 years, ihad leukemia and retired,10 yr ago. dawn was a wonderful person and funny we laughed so hard so many times , im very sad at her passing and so sorry for your loss. she’s with our Lord now she’s probably making him laugh.

Oh dear. Knew Dawn was fighting cancer. I’ll always remember seeing her at all the dances!!Great dancer and always looked so sharp!! Condolences to her sister Sharon and family
