To the Pinkerton Family,
From myself and all SPAAR members, We will surely miss Dave and his contributions to the club and his many conversations. Dave was always willing to help with setup and teardown of the launch equipment. Being a machinist by trade I enjoyed my conversations with Dave about our mutual work. My condolences to you all. Dave’s absence will surely leave a big hole in all our lives. What a great man.

Having only just reconnected with Dave at our MTHS reunion three years ago, I loved to follow his Facebook pos that made evident not only his passion for and skill with rocketry, but also — far more importantly — his dedication to and love for his family. Dave was one of the kindest, gentlest, and most genuine of men, and his loss truly grieves us all. I have no doubt he rests with God, but I send prayers for the comforting of his beloved family. I regret I live too far away to attend his memorial service.

He loved & enjoyed so many things in life, it was hard to not share at least one thing in common with him. Up against “the odds” for a better part of his life, no doubt proof that a positive attitude & a generosity of love, compassion returned to him so many memories & years we were all lucky to witness & be a part of
