My thoughts and prayers are with Lisa and Dave’s family, I’ve know Dave for almost 25 years, we had a love for the military both of us combat veterans we knew the demons that haunted us, but through that Dave stayed focused on his family and his hobbies. He was a kind soul, I enjoyed his daily phone calls. I will miss him dearly but will remember the memories we shared.

This past week at Historicon, Dave was sorely missed. He was a promoter of the hobby, a familiar sight in the Exhibit Hall, circulating and chatting up the shoppers/attendees. A moment of silence was observed prior to a game that I ran at the convention.
Aside from my famiy and church, Tiggers was the best friend I had in Lancaster. We supported each other through many ups and downs of life. After my spouse’s death, Dave called to check on me every day for about a year. He said, “That’s what friends do.” You got it, Dave.

Tiggers was a wonderful friend who never met a stranger He would often call my house when I was at work and just chatted on to my mom like he’d known her forever. They finally got to meet the last time He came out to Texas and Oklahoma and I am so glad they did. I have so many happy memories of him being Tiggers. We didn’t know how blessed we were to have in in our lives and how much brighter he made them.
