David F. “Moose” Fritsch, Sr., 53

David F. “Moose” Fritsch, Sr., 53, of Lancaster, died unexpectedly Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Lancaster Regional Hospital.
Born in Lancaster, he was the husband of Karen (Bowers) Fritsch of Lancaster, and the son of the late Francis J. and Irene M. (Hoffman) Fritsch Kamm.
Dave was known by many family and friends as a loving, caring, and generous man. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed spending time in Potter County. He worked for a number of years as a tire technician for Firestone.
In addition to his wife of 29 years, he is survived by 2 daughters, Melissa S. Fritsch and her companion Robert Jeffries and Christine A. Rosado, all of Lancaster; a son, David F. Fritsch Jr. and his wife Victoria of Lititz; 3 brothers: Michael Fritsch of Lancaster, William Fritsch and his wife Kelly of Lititz, and Richard Fritsch and his wife Shanna of Lancaster; one sister, Kimberly Fritsch Romanowski and her husband Thomas of Lititz; one step-brother, Andrew Kamm of Lancaster, 2 step-sisters, Carla Curry of Chesapeake, Va, and Lia Mort of Lancaster; 9 grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life in memory of Dave Fritsch will be held at the Kiwanis Pavilion #22, Lancaster County Park, on Nov 2, 2014, 2 – 6 pm, all of Dave’s family and friends are welcome.

Big Dave may you RIP brother, our thoughts are with you and your family. We sure will miss your “drive buys”, It was always a special day when BIG DAVE was in Pequea. love u so much uncle dave wish i could have said good bye im still in shock even as i stare at your picture u were such a great man and u always tried to put a smile on your face no matter what u went thru. god has took u from us way to soon ,but your pain is now over and may u watch over us all specially david,melissa,and chris and all your grands as they deal with this please help them with their pain as times will get harder before we can began to heal your neice JESSIE
