David (Dave) H. Kirsch, 54
March 14, 2024
David (Dave) H. Kirsch of Lancaster passed away peacefully at his home on March 14, 2024.
He was the husband of Angie Kirsch, married 34 years. He was the dad of David H. Kirsch Jr, of Newnan, Georgia.
Dave was a man who loved the Lord with his whole heart. He fought his cancer with the strength from God. He had a great faith in God’s plan for him. He loved the church he was so active in. He had many roles in his church that he fulfilled with delight.
Dave was a cub scout as a child and then became a Boy Scout Leader. He enjoyed camping trips and softball games. He most enjoyed the brotherhood and friendships that grew from his years in Scouts.
Dave loved to travel. He was able to go to Lithuania on a mission trip. He was able to go to many bucket list places the last 3 years, The Grand Canyon being his most favorite. He was a man who loved road trips. He truly loved to drive.
Fishing was another of Dave’s favorite hobbies. Fishing was more than a way to relax, but also a way he and his son bonded. Whether going right after work on a weeknight or heading out to Muddy Run on a nice Saturday afternoon. Dave even kept fishing rods and tackle in the car in case a good looking spot was passed on a drive. Even if no fish were caught, great conversations were had.
He was also an employee of Lancaster County Motors. It was a job he loved, with people he loved, for an amazing company he loved.
Dave is survived by his beloved wife Angie, his son David, his mother Mabel (Sue) Kirsch, brother Jeffrey Kirsch, sister Jamie Kirsch, many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins whom he loved dearly. He enjoyed spending time with family. Preceded by his father, James (Jim) E. Kirsch.
A visitation will be held Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Grace Community Church, 212 Peach Bottom Rd, Willow Street, PA 17584 from 3pm to 4pm with a service to begin at 4pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church, 322 Hershey Ave, Lancaster, PA 17603.

Angie and Davud,
There are no adequate words we can express during this difficult time. Dave’s humor, grace and faith are shining examples for us all to follow. May you find some peace in knowing he is now healthy and happy in the arms of his Lord.
With much love, Tina and Jake

Like many people, I met Dave and Angie through my employment at LCM. Dave was a long term employee and I quickly realized the type of person he was. Dave lived his life by example. He quietly out worked everybody, day in and day out. Dave would do anything for anybody, never asking (or expecting) anything in return. Although his “job title” may not have reflected it, he was the most valuable and respected employee in our fairly large company. I have met quite a few good (and some not so good) people in my life. Dave was one of the very best! “Rest in Peace” my friend, you deserve it.

Dave was a great man to work with. He was funny and very nice. He will be missed all around. It’s sad to see them go. And I pray that God will be with you at this time. And he will be waiting on you when we make it to heaven. Sorry it was this soon. Angie Rhodes

We who have known Dave and Angie and their son have been blessed. Many people will miss seeing Dave and experiencing such a positive influence. I was granted the privilege to know Dave at work at LCM for many years. He was not only an excellent employee, but always had the ability to go above and beyond in everything he accomplished. His life is one to celebrate and to give great thanks to God. God greatly blessed us with Dave’s life.
