My family and I are unutterably heartbroken and overcome with sorrow to learn of Dan’s passing. His family and friends have our deepest sympathy.
Dan was a close friend who shared his passion for outdoor adventures and experiences with me and my sons. He was one of the most intelligent, kind, and generous men I have ever known, with a remarkable talent for drawing people in and inspiring them to share his love for the outdoors. Losing him far too soon is truly heartbreaking, and my family and I are at a loss for words. We will honor his memory every time we catch that monster mahi and flush the next pheasant.
Please know that you are in our thoughts. I hope you find strength, courage, and comforting peace in the days ahead. We are here for you—please do not hesitate to reach out if there is anything we can do to support you.

My heartfelt condolences to the Horvath family.  Our heart is broken by the sad news.  Dan was a unique, caring leader who touched others in a very special way.  “To be absent from the body us to be present with the Lord.”
Until we meet again my friend, please cheer us on from above

Dan will be greatly missed !!!  It was always a pleasure working with him on any IT projects I was managing that involved his business areas and team.  His pleasent, positive and open personality was “contageous” to all whom he interacted with.  My thoughts and prayers are with all of his family during this very tough time.
