Cynthia L. Wise, 67, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2024. Born in Lancaster, PA, she was the daughter of Esther (Zahm) and the late Edward C. Martin, Sr., and the beloved wife of Rickie Wise.

A graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School, Cynthia worked in production at Miesse Candies and QVC prior to retirement. She was known for her creative hobbies, including sewing and quilting, and she loved shopping and traveling to Wildwood, NJ. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her daughter, especially when they got their nails done together.

Cynthia is survived by her husband, Rickie Wise, and her children: Amanda Bays, wife of Michael, of Lancaster, and Ryan Waltz, husband of Alyssa Heisler, of Lancaster. She is also survived by her daughters-in-law, Alisha Waltz and Kathey Pentz; grandchildren: Kattina Waltz, Shianne Mattson, Nelson Waltz, Isabella Dwyer, Brianna Dwyer, Mya Ingram, Kaylee Yellets and Jayden Yellets; and great-grandchildren: Adonis and Romeo Thomas. Cynthia is also remembered by her siblings: Edward Martin, Jr., Shirley Hulse, and Deborah Lewis, along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Nelson Waltz; her brother, Vance Martin, and her first husband, Nelson L. Waltz, Jr.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Family and friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
